For me, to come to a result as quickly as possible you have 2 options: please try one of the following techniques
1. If you want to use this technique of assembling, then your components need a simpler structure - try fibers (I sentd you images of a former student's work)
2. try Aleksandra's approach. In the posting titled: "ALEKSANDRA-MODELS" in the last images ( http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_QwnJS1o4s28/STmHpUTxUqI/AAAAAAAAANw/66IM3niJZkQ/s1600-h/progress5.jpg ). This technique could also get you to a result (but I suggest you forget about the "legs")
It is really difficult for me to evaluate your work, as there is just not enough to talk about. I´m not gonna start discussing, why the project is not where it should be by now. I´m just going to repeat what I said allready a week ago: Make a decision and stick to it.
Make yourself a plan of how you want to proceed with your project and check your time schedule.
Architects also have to take care about the time schedule: What can I achieve in which time.
One more thing: Please try to avoid to use the term "Shape"......We are making Architecture in this studio, not "shapes"...
