ANIMATION FORM

Animaion form is an innovative direction in design and it is also translation into architectural form. Animation has got huge connection with motion and force. This two things are related with movements, rhytms, pulses and flows. It causes effects on forms. In book it was named motor evidence. My examples of architecture is project of the empire tower is located in the heart of Dubai. It uses an array of splayed vertical layers which are unified at the bottom and rise up into the sky with gentle curves. It show rhytms in facade.

The dancing house in Prague and The Ray and Maria Stata Center, both projected by Frank Gehry. Dance is associate with different movements, so it is comment to the name of the building. We are able to see that they look like somebody crumpled them and they present it on exterior. That’s why we can image that the force was necessary to do it. They seemed to express the motion that there is to narrowly for that buildings.

The people’s theatre projected by Oscar Niemeyer I would like to give as example of the flow in contemporary architecture. The white, popply surface I link with sea wave which has connection with the different meanings of flow. The roof is like rising billow.

This two outwards of the buildings first from Dresden and second from Moscow make an impression pulses. The force is responsible for causing sensation that this front is pulsing. That’s why you feel that that buildings are interesting for you and send motion.

Inspiration of external animals movements, in my opinion, made that form of buildings is based on curvilinearity. In animal body we never find straight corner.
