Winnie, thanks for posting your extensive Research and development booklet, and sorry for my late reply. Your analysis of the site is very acurate. I appreciate your efforts to understand the concept of whole to part and part to whole. Though I think there is a little confusion here. I will try solve it with a couple of examples: part to whole: Geneeative components driven projets like the Civil Xourt in Spain by Zaha Hadid, procedual organization of components populating a surface. Check also the page theverymany.net for a lot of examples on part to whole relationship. Whole to part relationship: examples: Greg Lynn: Predator Installation......Peter Cook: Kunsthaus Graz: A whole entity, or body, is subdivided in individual panels or components.
About the progress of the design. What would you describe as your technique? What is your desire in this project? What drives the design process, what is your obsession??
